Varun Atre

Varun is the Chief Product Officer at Fastmarkets and leads the global Product and Market Development teams, driving our long-term product vision and strategy. With a proven track record in business transformation and product leadership, he is responsible for steering our product strategy from conception to execution and overseeing our growth agenda. Prior to this role, Varun served as Chief Product Officer at Calastone, a PE-backed Fintech where he led the development of a range of products in the Investment Funds industry. Before his tenure at Calastone, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led transformative initiatives across the financial services, telecom, and digital media sectors. Varun began his career as an engineer at Hatch, building a strong foundation in technical problem-solving. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a degree in Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
