Walter has global responsibility for sales, business development, pricing and product innovation. Previously, Walter served as CEO of OmniMetrix, a leader in IoT remote monitoring solutions for industrial assets including batteries. During his tenure, sales tripled, gross margins improved to 60%, and customer experience ratings reached their highest levels in company history. He began his career at Lehman Brothers Investment Banking in New York. Walter holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Bucknell. He is professionally proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Raj Surendran was appointed CEO of Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia on 19 October 2022. He is a highly experienced senior executive with over 20 years of finance, business development, strategy, project management and commercial leadership experience in Australia.
