Originally started by George’s father over 50 years ago as a single scrap metal facility in Anaheim, Adams Steel merged with Sims Metal Management in September of 2007 to form SA Recycling. SA Recycling now has over 140 locations in sixteen states with over 3,000 employees, 25 shredders, and will process 5 million tons of recycled metals annually. Mr. Adams is an attorney who earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University in 1984. He is a member of the American, California, and Orange County Bar Associations

Tamara L. Lundgren is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Radius Recycling, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDUS), one of the largest manufacturers of recycled metals in North America with operating facilities located in 25 states, Puerto Rico, and Western Canada. Under Lundgren's leadership, the Company’s expanded operating platform has enabled Radius to provide products and services to meet the rising global demand for recycled metals and support the global transition to low carbon technologies. In 2023, Radius was listed as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies and named as the Most Sustainable Company in the World by Corporate Knights. Lundgren joined Radius in 2005 as Chief Strategy Officer and held positions of increasing responsibility, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. She was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2008 and Chairman in 2020. Prior to joining Radius, she was an investment banker and lawyer with 25 years of experience in the U.S. and Europe, including as a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank in London and New York, and a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Hogan & Hartson, LLP. Lundgren serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Ryder System Inc. and the Board of Trustees of The Conference Board and is the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Lundgren earned a B.A. degree from Wellesley College and a J.D. degree from the Northwestern University School of Law.

In this role, John will oversee the Company's raw material supply chains to leverage our iron ore assets as a unique competitive advantage capable of generating real value. This includes increasing our ability to become vertically integrated with our Mini Mill segment, optimizing our metallics mix and expanding commercial opportunities within the metallics space. Before joining U. S. Steel, Mr. Gordon spent four years at Johnson Matthey, a global leader in sustainable technologies, culminating in his position as Managing Director of the Platinum Group Metals Services division as well as President, Johnson Matthey (USA). Prior to joining Johnson Matthey, Mr. Gordon was Global Head of Mining for Clariant Mining Solutions, a leading provider of flotation chemicals and emulsifiers for explosives to the mining industry. Previously, Mr. Gordon worked at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., where he held various corporate and operational roles focused on major capital projects, cost and process optimization, and overseeing supply chain, plant maintenance and engineering at a major South American copper mine. His career began at Baker Hughes Co., where he worked in progressing operations and commercial positions. Mr. Gordon holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Duke University and completed his Master of Business Administration at London Business School.

Jonathan Christensen is a policy analyst specializing in steel imports with the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He supports the mission of the agency through the administration of the United States’ steel import licensing program and public steel import monitors. He previously completed his graduate education at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy.

Tom Meloche is General Manager of K-Scrap Resources Ltd, a Windsor, Ontario based metal recycler. K-Scrap exclusively serves the industrial, commercial, construction and retail segments. Tom is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Windsor. He has spent most of his career in manufacturing engineering, design engineering, cost estimating and sales within the automotive and industrial sectors. Tom joined the scrap industry in 2011. His prior experience in lean manufacturing, metal forming, and sales within the North American trading bloc has proven invaluable for his work in the scrap metal industry.

Kim Leppold is the Head of Steel Research for Fastmarkets, overseeing a team of analysts covering steelmaking raw materials, ferro-alloys and finished steel analysis and forecasting. She was previously a Principal Analyst covering the global steel tube and pipe markets, and editing the monthly tube and pipe trackers, Welded Linepipe & OCTG Market Tracker, and Seamless OCTG & Linepipe Market Tracker as well as a manager and contributor on the long-term forecast services, OCTG Intelligence Service and the Large Diameter Linepipe Intelligence Service. Kim is a frequent and popular speaker in Fastmarkets and industry conferences and webinars on the tube and pipe, steel, and steelmaking raw materials markets. She has always had an interest in making data accessible to users and leads the development of Fastmarkets’ forecast data to the client-facing dashboard interface. Kim joined Fastmarkets in 2005, after working as an economist for Global Insight where she provided analysis and forecasting of the economies of the Southwest central United States and consulted on projects concerning economic development issues in regions of Arkansas and West Virginia. Prior to joining Global Insight, Kim served as a consultant for the steel and energy industries for CRU International. She is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and holds a BA in Mass Communications and a MSc in Mineral Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.

Lisa Gordon is a senior pricing reporter with a thorough understanding of the finished steel and scrap metal recycling industries in the US. She has been covering the industry since 2007. Lisa joined AMM from a competitor in 2009 and her enormous respect for the steel and ferrous industries is evident. She has covered domestic and export ferrous scrap price settlements in all U.S. markets as well as in Canada and Mexico. Lisa launched the shredder feed price series in 2018 and the Mexican scrap price series in 2016. Most recently, she and a colleague did the intelligence to update two maps (published in January 2024) : Shredders in the US and 2024 North America Steel producers.
