Rose’s parents founded Allied Scrap Processors in 1956, and in the late 1990s, Rose and her brother acquired the business from their parents. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Allied Scrap Processors, she is responsible for overseeing financial strategy and operations. In addition to her primary financial duties, Rose actively manages inventory, sales, and other operational functions, embodying the multifaceted role often required in a small business. Rose has served as Past President of the Southeast Region of the Scrap Recycling Industry (ISRI) trade association, which encompasses seven states. During her tenure as president, she also served on the National Board of ISRI for four years. Tim is a native of St. Louis, Missouri where he still lives and works. He attended Trinity Christian College, earning a B.A. in Business and Economics. Tim began learning about the recycled materials industry while working as a territory manager for a Caterpillar equipment dealership and selling machines to metal recycling companies. He attended his first ISRI event, Consumers Night 2017, because his customer, Shapiro Metals, was also attending. Shortly thereafter, he was recruited by Shapiro and began his sustainability journey as a National Account Manager while helping multi-location industrial manufacturers improve their recycling programs. Tim now serves as the VP of Circular Business Development. Tim works with the Shapiro team to build recycling and sustainability programs for multi-location industrial manufacturers stretching from Richmond, Virginia to Portland, Oregon and from Montreal, Canada to Monterrey, Mexico. The Circular team is responsible for creating additional revenue and savings for its customers while diverting thousands of tons of material from landfills and expanding Shapiro’s capabilities beyond metal recycling. She has covered domestic and export ferrous scrap price settlements in all U.S. markets as well as in Canada and Mexico. Lisa launched the shredder feed price series in 2018 and the Mexican scrap price series in 2016. Most recently, she and a colleague did the intelligence to update two maps (published in January 2024) : Shredders in the US and 2024 North America Steel producers.

Kim Leppold is the Head of Steel Research for Fastmarkets, overseeing a team of analysts covering steelmaking raw materials, ferro-alloys and finished steel analysis and forecasting. She was previously a Principal Analyst covering the global steel tube and pipe markets, and editing the monthly tube and pipe trackers, Welded Linepipe & OCTG Market Tracker, and Seamless OCTG & Linepipe Market Tracker as well as a manager and contributor on the long-term forecast services, OCTG Intelligence Service and the Large Diameter Linepipe Intelligence Service. Kim is a frequent and popular speaker in Fastmarkets and industry conferences and webinars on the tube and pipe, steel, and steelmaking raw materials markets. She has always had an interest in making data accessible to users and leads the development of Fastmarkets’ forecast data to the client-facing dashboard interface. Kim joined Fastmarkets in 2005, after working as an economist for Global Insight where she provided analysis and forecasting of the economies of the Southwest central United States and consulted on projects concerning economic development issues in regions of Arkansas and West Virginia. Prior to joining Global Insight, Kim served as a consultant for the steel and energy industries for CRU International. She is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and holds a BA in Mass Communications and a MSc in Mineral Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.
