PRICING NOTICE: Proposal to launch European HBI import price assessment

Metal Bulletin proposes to launch a weekly European hot briquetted iron (HBI) assessment on a cfr Italy basis, $ per tonne.

The European HBI assessment is being launched in response to the growing global HBI market, with Italy being the largest consumer in the spot market.

Lot size: 10,000-30,000 tonnes
Payment terms: Against FCR and B/L
Publication: Weekly. Thursday, 2-3pm London time

The consultation period for this proposed launch will end one month from the date of this pricing notice on Friday June 29, with changes taking place, subject to market feedback, from Monday July 2.
