Proposal to launch price assessments for tissue jumbo rolls in Brazil

Fastmarkets is proposing to launch four monthly price assessments for tissue jumbo rolls in the Brazilian market.

The proposed specifications are as follows:

Tissue, jumbo rolls 100% virgin fiber, 13 grams per square meter, fob Brazil, reais/tonne​

Quantity: 10-30 tonnes

Location: Brazil

Incoterm: FOB Mill

Timing: Orders taken in the month to date for shipment in the current month or the following month.

Unit: Tonne

Currency: Brazilian Real

Payment terms: Assume normal and customary payment terms (30-70 days). Excludes PIS/COFINS of 9.25%, IPI of 3.25% and ICMS taxes.

Price Type: Net. Includes open-market transactions in ongoing supply relationships. Excludes transactions between affiliates and transactions indexed to a published price.

Assessment Type: Range price assessment

Publication: Monthly. Usually in the first week of the month.

Notes: Price assessments reflect the range in which the bulk of transactions took place. Prices are for tonnage considering regular reels with width between 2.4m and 2.7m.

Furnish: 100% virgin fiber.

Quantity: 10-30 tonnes
